Testimonials from Conferences, Seminars and Consult Group Attendees:

"Your subject matter expertise, authenticity, and sense of humor made this program top notch!!"

"Although I knew a lot of theoretical information about PMADs prior to this training, I did not know much about specific clinical strategies to support families experiencing PMADs (outside of my general clinical skills as an LICSW). I feel like Heidi gave very practical things she says to clients that are helpful, etc. that I will use!"

"I have been working with perinatal women for over 20 years, specifically addressing PMADs as a therapist. I can always learn more and found Heidi's training very helpful. I appreciated the current information and statistics from more recent research studies. I learned more about perinatal OCD than I previously knew. I appreciated learning some useful therapeutic interventions and different assessment tools than I have used previously."

"I felt that the presentation was holistic and incorporated many factors that affect PMADS, focusing on community and support instead of just the diagnostics and "disorders" of women postpartum. Postpartum issues are a cultural, societal, familial issue and it is clear that Heidi was aware and highlighted this."

"I felt this training was really thorough. It covered so much more than I expected. I work with  many women who have experienced sexual abuse and this gave me knowledge on how to help, look for and address certain triggers or issues this new mother may have."

"Oh, WOW! You guys were amazing! I learned so much and have been able to pass on resourcesto so many patients already! Just learning about tangible resources and  current information on med management, physiology of anxiety and how it affects uterine blood flow, endocrine function, amygdala and prefrontal cortex/brain development of the fetus was such CONCRETE information! It will make a difference in the urgency to distribute the information."
